Anyone have suggestions on minimizing/removing cigarette burn from an xbox 360 controller?

Sure, I'm a bit embarrassed but I feel asleep w/cigarette while playing xbox 360 only to wake and find a burn mark. I've thought of filing it with a nail file to try to reduce it? Any other suggestion...besides NOT smoking while being sleepy anymore? :)

very fine grade sand paper will do a better job and probably be more user friendly than a nail file. You can keep it more focused on the burn mark. Or buy a controller skin to cover it up.
