For Twilight Princess on the Wii, can I use the Classic controller or the Game Cube Controller?

I havent purchased a Wi yet, but I would like to know if I HAVE to use the Wii-Mote to play Twilight Princess. Or if I can just use a Game Cub controller to play. For Twilight Princess on the Wii, can I use the Classic controller or the Game Cube Controller?
The game was meant for the controller that came with the system, and although I've never actually tried using a Gamecube controller with the game, I can't see how it would work. If you look at the back of the box of the Zelda game, it clearly shows the Wii controller and nunchuck attachment in the upper right hand corner.

I have played through quite a bit of the game, and there are several parts where you have to use the Wii's controller to aim at things on screen (such as jumping to new spots). I can't see how you could use the Gamecube's controller to do this. Since the Wii comes with the remote shaped controller and nunchuck attachment (plus is a single player game), I don't think this should be an issue for you.For Twilight Princess on the Wii, can I use the Classic controller or the Game Cube Controller?
u knw i dont knw. i was hoping u could because the wiimote and nunchuck look so stupid and tough to control
they have classic controllers and yes you can use them. they also have the outlets on top of the wii or on the side...depending on how you sit it that you can plug your gamecube controller into, and you should be able to use those as long as you turn the connection off of the wii mote and specify which controller you are going to use before you start the game
