No, I asked an employee at GameStop back when there was no Guitar Hero out for PS3. He told me to buy an accessory which converts the PS2 guitar jack to the PS3 one; however he said there were still some bugs.Does the guitar hero 2 ps2 controller work with guitar hero 3 on ps3?
no because they have different plug ins at the bottom of the cord

you can buy a converter to use PS2 controllers on a PS3. Go look at your local electronic store and they should be able to help you. I know Future Shop has them.
yes it does. theres a place too hook it up on the side.
no they do not work ps3 uses wireless and usb the ps2 does not.
nope because the ps3 has different input jacks it needs a different controller i found that out the hard way

no because on the PS2 the jack is bigger in the guitar,on the PS3 it is too small to fit
