I just bought a new xbox 360 cuz my old one broke.Im trying to use the controller I had with the old 360 but for some reason its not working.the only controller that works is the controller that came with the system.
the system i had before was the 20GB xbox 360.i just bought an xbox acrade and attached my hard drive to it. why is my old controller not working with my new system? Why is my old controller not working with my new xbox 360?
IS it connected properly your controller could be broke also, trying asking XBOX tech support. Why is my old controller not working with my new xbox 360?
Make sure you connec it
Have you synced it with the new xbox? There is a button that looks kind of like ))) on your controller and xbox, push the one on your controller when you turn it on, then on your xbox and the lighted wheel should spin on both and settle on the same spot on both controller and console. If this isn't the problem, is your controller turning on at all? Maybe its batteries. If neither of these work, edit your post and i will brainstorm some more.
Glad to hear it!! Have fun :)
perhaps the problem was ur hard drive?? or there might be a short in ur controller. and the controllers for the arcade and pro are tottally different
press the ';sync buttons';, on the top of your controller (close to where you disconnect batteries). and the one on the console, the little button near the memory stick slot. That WILL fix it.
there is two things you need to do to connect them
there should be a button (circular) near the power button
press that and there is also one on the controller near the
charger port
press that and it could take some troubleshooting with which to press first
