What is a better goal to set my sights on U.S. Army Ranger or U.S. Air Force Combat Controller?

I am very interested in both, i know of the attrition rate and i am very smart and in shape. I am in 10th grade and have always wanted to be a Ranger like my father, but Combat Controllers are also very interesting and cool. What do you think are the Pros/Cons of both and it would be helpful if you can give me any advice on both.

Hi,

I don't know anyone in either of these careers, but they both sound like great jobs in the military. In one, you can draw from your dad's experience, and in the other, you might find something more tailored to what you're interested in.

I'd say to talk to recruiters, who can assess your abilities, and help you make the decision for what to try first.

As with everything else, what you want to do with your life is your best bet to succeed. And if you try one and it doesn't meet your expectations or doesn't challenge you enough, you can always try the other.

Sorry I don't have more specifics for you, but maybe this will help you find someone who can give them to you!

Good luck in whatever you decide. If you're smart, you'll do just fine. What is a better goal to set my sights on U.S. Army Ranger or U.S. Air Force Combat Controller?
it depends on what you want to do.

if u wanna kick in doors then go as a ranger.

if you want to call in air strikes, go as a CC
yes it's all fun and games unless you lose a leg or kill an innocent civilian!
