Difference between gamecube controller and classic controller?

i have a tatsunoko vs capcom and bleach vs crusade game for wii.


console is Nintendo Wii.





just wondering if i buy a gamecube controller, will i able to use it for those 2 games and other compatible wii games using GC controller..





and..





if i buy a classic controller, am i able to use it for gamecube games?





whats the difference between the controller? like the buttons? do they have the same numbers of buttonS?Difference between gamecube controller and classic controller?
As far as I know, the gamecube controller is 100% compatible with any wii or gamecube title. The Classic controller, however, won't be compatible with certain gamecube games.

Gamecube Controller. It has better grip and much simpler styling of how its buttons have been lain out. The Classic controller for the Wii isn't the best as you constantly have to have it plugged into a Wiimote, which drains the battery even if you don't move the Wiimote.





The Gamecube controller is way better because you can simplify things and plug it into the console directly, no batteries needed.
